Burton’s biggest beach party
Think beach vibes, seaside shows, Texan Smokehouse grill and foam parties as Burton gets ready for the biggest beach party ever at National Forest Adventure Farm, in Tatenhill.
Running from Saturday 19th July to Monday 1st September expect the ultimate in holiday summer vibes. Over 250 tonnes of soft golden sand are being shipped in with four gigantic 10 metre paddling pools and a smaller pool for little ones surrounded by deck chairs for the six weeks of beach fun.
Foam parties and seaside shows will take place on the main stage with sand art, and a traditional teacup ride adding a further seaside feel to the venue.
Beach grills and ice cream will allow visitors to soak up street style seaside foods including Texas inspired grilled chicken and hotdogs or smashed burgers as well as a beach bar and locally made ice cream. You can even try the new ice cream panini which brings the latest US trend to Staffordshire.

Brewhouse on Tour
Get creative with the family fun days during the summer holidays. Burton’s Brewhouse Arts Centre will be hitting the road with lots of fun activities to get you in the holiday spirit as they bring the magic of the Brewhouse direct to local parks. All part of a scheme to make art accessible to all the free family fun days will include creative activities and exciting live performances from professional theatre companies.
No booking required just turn up and enjoy the fun.
Each day runs from 11am till 3pm.

Prosecco and Gin family festival
An outdoor summer festival at Dovecliff Hall, in Rolleston, get into the holiday spirit with live music, BBQ food, bubbles, glitter paint and bouncy castle.
Celebrating the best of Prosecco, gin and fizz grab your favourite deck chair and head to the outdoor event which will bring the best of summer food and fizz for a night of live music and entertainment.
Tickets start from £15 with VIP packages offering an extra special treat.

Summer of Play
Nothing says summer holiday fun more than traditional games at Calke Abbey. The Garden of Imagination is back in the National Trust house’s Kitchen Garden. From Saturday 12th July to Wednesday 3rd September discover endless opportunities of play. From racing around the hobby horse course to putting on a stage performance, explore each zone and let your imagination run wild while you enjoy a family day out in the sunshine. You can even refuel with an ice cream from the refreshment pod.

Burton’s Caribbean Carnival
Feel the rhythm, colour and culture of the Caribbean right in the heart of Burton as the Caribbean Carnival returns for a spectacular day of music, dance, food and community spirit.
For one day only get transported to the tropics on Saturday 9th August from 10.30am till 8pm at Shobnall Leisure Complex.
Experience the vibrant street parade, live performances from steel bands, reggae, soca and dancehall artists. Taste the delicious flavours of jerk chicken and sweet plantains as this family-friendly event celebrates Caribbean heritage while bringing a taste of the tropics to Staffordshire.
The Carnival Procession will start at the Burton Caribbean Association, in Uxbridge Street, at 10.30am and aim to arrive at Shobnall Leisure Complex by 12.30pm.
